The owner of a Long Beach car wash raided by immigration agents last week says four people were arrested during the operation, including his nephew, who had worked at the business for 15 years.
Andres, who has owned Andres Car Wash in Cal Heights for 30 years, spoke to the Long Beach Post about a week after masked agents stormed through his business on Aug. 17. He asked to be identified only by his first name because he’s afraid of being targeted for deportation himself.
