Plans to overhaul the South Bay Galleria are moving forward after city officials approved the next stage of redevelopment for the Redondo Beach shopping center.
The Redondo Beach Planning Commission signed off Aug. 21 on Phase 2 of the project, which will replace part of the property with a mixed-use complex.
