Celeste Rivas case: Arrest made in teen girl’s death

LOS ANGELES An arrest has been made in the case involving Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a 15-year-old girl who was found dead inside a Tesla belonging to singer D4vd.

What we know:On September 8, Rivas Hernandez’s body was recovered at Hollywood Tow after employees at the tow yard reported smelling a strong odor coming from the car. When officers arrived, they discovered the young girl’s remains wrapped inside a plastic bag in the trunk.

Los Angeles Police Department Robbery-Homicide Division, Homicide Special Section detectives assumed responsibility for the investigation.

On September 16, search warrants were served at multiple locations. On that same date, 52-year-old Sandra Romo Diaz was arrested in connection with Rivas Hernandez’ murder.
