A infant died Wednesday afternoon after first responders were called to a Canyon Country home for reports of the 2-month-old not breathing.
Around 4:50 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the 19000 block of Evi Lane, where CPR was performed immediately on the infant, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Despite life-saving efforts, the baby was pronounced dead at the scene.
