Five people were hospitalized Saturday after a helicopter crashed near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Huntington Street in Huntington Beach, California. A map of the site details the area where the shocking incident occurred.
The crash happened just after 2 p.m. PT (5 p.m. ET) during the “Cars ‘N Copters on the Coast” event, a popular gathering of luxury and exotic cars and helicopters close to the beach.
According to officials, two people were safely pulled out of the aircraft, while three pedestrians were also injured. The five individuals were taken to the hospital, and their conditions were not immediately known.
