14 arrested after ‘No Kings Day’ protest in downtown Los Angeles, police say

More than a dozen people were arrested after a mostly peaceful “No Kings Day” demonstration in downtown Los Angeles over the weekend.

Twelve adults and two juveniles were taken into custody Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. It’s unclear what charges they are facing. Video obtained by Eyewitness News shows several people being detained and loaded onto buses.

The LAPD also says one officer was injured, but details or the extent of those injuries were not released…
