Shoe store in South Los Angeles hit by burglars twice in one week

A South Los Angeles shoe store was targeted by burglars early Friday morning—the second break-in reported at the same location this week, authorities said.

During the most recent hit, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the 3600 block of West Slauson Avenue around 5:09 a.m. after receiving reports of a burglary in progress, according to the LAPD.

By the time police arrived, the suspects had already fled the scene. No arrests have been made and no suspect description was immediately available. Officers took a burglary report, though the amount stolen has not yet been confirmed.
