A fire erupted on a container ship docked at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, prompting a response from more than 100 firefighters Friday evening.
All 23 crew members have been accounted for and no injuries have been reported from the electrical fire, which appears to have started below deck, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The ship’s cargo includes hazardous materials.
