South LA’s Morsy Farms reports steep downturn in sales of live turkeys ahead of Thanksgiving

The owner of Morsy Farms in South Los Angeles, which has been selling live turkeys around the Thanksgiving holiday for nearly three decades, said sales have declined amid an increase in prices.

When ABC7 visited Samy Morsy’s business for a report in 2005, turkeys were selling for about $55 each. The price has since climbed to $125.
