A 60-year-old woman who was struck and killed by a car as she attempted to cross a street in Long Beach was identified Tuesday.
The woman was struck about 6:20 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of East Anaheim Street and Rose Avenue.
Long Beach Police Department officers dispatched to the location found the woman in the roadway and attempted to give her lifesaving aid. Long Beach Fire Department personnel arrived and rushed her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said…
