A woman died after being fatally struck by a car in Long Beach on Saturday night, police said.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, officers responded to West Pacific Coast Highway and Cedar Avenue at 8:45 p.m. on reports of an injury traffic collision.
Arriving officers found Long Beach Fire Department paramedics rendering aid to an unconscious woman in the roadway. She was taken to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries, LBPD said.
