Man Wounded in Late-Night Shooting on Baltic Avenue in Long Beach; Police Investigating

Long Beach was the scene of violence late last night when a shooting incident unfolded on Baltic Avenue, leaving one man wounded. At approximately 10:22 p.m., Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run shooting on the 2700 block, as detailed in a report by the LBPD.

Upon arrival, police found a male adult with gunshot wounds to his lower body, the Long Beach Fire Department paramedics were quick on the scene to transport the victim, who was in stable condition, to an area hospital, Officers were also able to locate a crime scene where the shooting took place, adding another chapter to the city’s struggle with gun violence. Detectives have since taken over the investigation, delving into motive and suspect information, which, as of now, remain undisclosed as the search for answers presses on.
