A second strong earthquake struck the Coachella Valley this week, worrying residents about a possible stronger quake in the future.
At 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, a magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck about 12 miles north-northwest of Indio, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
