Los Angeles, CA – Drivers along Highway 14 and in the Antelope Valley foothills could face slick pavement and sudden whiteout conditions beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday as snow and 70 mph wind gusts move into the region.
According to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard, a Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 9 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Friday for the Western San Gabriel Mountains, Highway 14 Corridor and the Antelope Valley foothills. Snow totals of 1 to 4 inches are expected between 3,500 and 4,500 feet, with 4 to 8 inches above 4,500 feet.
