Power was restored after a major outage that affected most Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department phone lines, including calls to 911.
Just after 6 p.m. Thursday night, LASD officials were notified of an outage affecting the Vesta System, a third-party public safety call-handling platform impacting 911 calls.
