One person was found dead and another is being questioned by homicide detectives following a seven-hour standoff at a beachfront home along The Strand in Hermosa Beach Saturday.
Hermosa Police Department Sgt. Keaton Dadigan told KTLA 5 News that officers responded to a welfare check at the home around 12:37 p.m. Saturday, after the landlord told police that they had not heard from their tenant in a week.
