Smash-and-grab burglar stole over $5,000 worth of merchandise from Barnes & Noble in Manhattan Beach

A smash-and-grab burglar was arrested for stealing over $5,000 worth of merchandise from a Barnes & Noble store in Manhattan Beach.

On March 7, Manhattan Beach police were called to the store at 1800 Rosecrans Avenue after the man had smashed a window to enter the shop.

Surveillance footage showed the masked burglar quickly walking behind a cashier’s desk and grabbing boxes of expensive Lego sets.

Police said the man escaped with around $5,000 worth of merchandise. Following an investigation, he was located and arrested on March 19…
