Several lanes of the 405 Freeway were briefly shut down after what was described as a piece of military ordnance was found on the freeway in Inglewood Friday morning.
The incident was reported around 10 a.m. at Century Boulevard on northbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol. The Los Angeles County Fire Department and bomb squad were called to investigate.
