Manslaughter charges have been dropped against two former Torrance police officers in connection with a deadly December 2018 shooting.
Twenty-three-year-old Christopher De’Andre Mitchell was shot and killed while sitting in the driver’s seat of a suspected stolen car in a supermarket parking lot in the 1700 block of Carson Street.
Police said when they asked Mitchell to get out of the car, he reached for an air rifle that was between his legs…
