An allegedly armed woman was taken into custody Wednesday morning after threatening a security guard, leading to an hourslong standoff at a hospital in Panorama City.
The incident unfolded at Mission Community Hospital on Roscoe Boulevard around 12:45 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The reportedly 38-year-old woman was at the emergency room complaining of chest pain when she allegedly began making threats toward hospital staff.
