A man is dead after being attacked by another man, possibly with a hammer, in East Hollywood on Thursday night, police said.
Officers responded to the area near Willow Brook and Virgil avenues at around 9 p.m. after receiving reports about two people fighting, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
