One person was killed and another wounded in an overnight shooting at the site of a candlelight vigil in Watts that was held for a mother of four who was allegedly slain by her boyfriend, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at about 2 a.m. Sunday in the area of East 104th Street and Wilmington Avenue, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said. Officer arrived to find a large crowd at the scene.
