The 2026 FIFA World Cup is proving to serve as an extra source of income for Inglewood residents who are offering parking spots to attendants, but the city has a warning for those who do so.
With flocks of people from all over the world heading to Los Angeles Stadium – which is what SoFi Stadium will be known as for World Cup matches – Inglewood residents who live near the venue are making extra cash by offering parking spots in their driveways.
According to digital parking reservation sites, some parking garages near the stadium are charging as much as $300 for game-day parking. Residents who live in neighborhoods near the venue are instead seeking anywhere from $50 to $80, which may be a bargain compared to other lots…
