DTLA Killer Convicted: Man faces life for multiple murders of unhoused people

A jury has found a 45-year-old man guilty on all counts for murdering two unhoused people, and attempting to kill a third, in Downtown Los Angeles in April 2024.

Clifford Chaun Loyer was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder, one count of premeditated attempted murder, two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon and one count each of grand theft of a firearm and grand theft auto.
