King tides are still creating dangerous water conditions along California’s coast, and crews hope sand berms and running pumps will help prevent flooding in cities like Long Beach.
KTLA’s Jennifer McGraw spoke with a man who has lived in the area for 30 years. He said a berm has always been in place to prevent water from rushing into homes, so he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw it washed away Sunday night.
