A newly filed planning application reveals a mixed-use development with retail space and affordable housing at Pico and Beverwil.
The prominent 1.73-acre Pico-Robertson site, which traded hands last year for $24 million, will be transformed into an eight-story mixed-use apartment complex, according to an LA City Planning application, as reported by Urbanize Los Angeles.
The property, situated at the southwest corner of Pico Boulevard and Beverwil Drive, sits just south of the Beverly Hills city limits at 9700 W. Pico Blvd. Project applicant BWB Pico LLC, an entity connected to BW Brody, filed requests with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning to demolish existing commercial buildings and surface parking lots to facilitate the construction.
