County Issues Beach Water Warnings as Temperatures Rise

LOS ANGELES – County health officials are again warning beachgoers to avoid ocean waters at several beaches after recent testing found elevated bacteria levels.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health on Tuesday issued ocean water quality warnings for multiple locations, including an area extending 100 yards up and down the coast from the Santa Monica Pier.

Additional warnings remain in effect at Topanga Canyon Beach, 100 yards up and down the coast from the lagoon; the Castlerock storm drain at Topanga County Beach, 100 yards up and down the coast from the storm drain; Mother’s Beach in Marina del Rey; Inner Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro; and the entire swim area at Solstice Creek at Dan Blocker County Beach…
