A mother and daughter who were hiking in the Southern California mountains east of Los Angeles have been found a day after they were reported missing.
The women, ages 21 and 41, were reported missing after they disappeared Thursday morning in the San Gorgonia Wilderness. They were hiking the Vivian Creek Trail, the shortest and the steepest route to the summit of Mount San Gorgonio, authorities said.
Authorities conducted a search and said Friday afternoon that the two women had been located. Details about where they were found were not immediately available…
