A dozen people, including seven children, were injured in a crash on the 5 Freeway overnight, according to preliminary information later confirmed by authorities.
The California Highway Patrol’s incident log indicates that units were first called to the northbound span of the 5 just south of Sheldon Street in Sun Valley just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
