The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department recovered more than $400,000 in stolen cargo on July 17, authorities announced Saturday.
LASD Major Crimes Bureau detectives informed deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Station that a semi-truck carrying stolen cargo was detected in the Valencia area. Deputies searched the area and found a semi-truck loaded with stolen goods.
“They observed several individuals actively unloading the stolen cargo and transferring the merchandise into a Penske box truck,” LASD said.
