Drake’s Hollywood, the upscale restaurant located in the heart of West Hollywood’s Design District, has abruptly closed after roughly three years in business, surprising employees and neighboring businesses.
Workers were seen clearing out the restaurant at 8747 Melrose Ave. on Friday, hauling equipment from the building and discarding food, according to neighboring businesses. The restaurant had reportedly operated during its normal business hours the previous evening.
