A 69-year-old woman was arrested for murder after a woman was found dead on the 2600 block of Grand Avenue in Long Beach Saturday, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Police responded to an assault call in the area at 7:26 p.m. At the scene, police found the victim unresponsive. Paramedics with the Long Beach Fire Department attempted to revive the woman but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Homicide detectives responded to the scene,” Long Beach PD said. “The preliminary investigation indicates the suspect physically assaulted the victim.”
The suspect, Estela Jaramillo Rodriguez of Long Beach, was arrested near the scene of the crime. She was booked at Long Beach City Jail for murder. Rodriguez’s bail is set at $2 million…
