In Downtown LA, you might find restaurants serving chicken wings, but Ranch and Maple, which opened in 2025, is offering residents something different: Atlanta-style hot wings prepared the “Korean way.”
The restaurant was founded by Ryan Kim, who opened Ranch and Maple after taking over his parents’ Atlanta restaurant, “Downtown Wings.” His parents were ready to retire and move away, so Kim decided to bring the family business to Los Angeles and give it a new name.
“Everything that we sell here, like the wings, chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches, is actually their recipe,” Kim said. “This is 25 years of their recipes, the ATL style.”…
