A single-family home was damaged after a reported explosion and fire in Lynwood Monday afternoon.
Los Angeles County Fire officials received a call at approximately 3:18 p.m. about an explosion at a house in the 11200 block of Virginia Avenue, near Beachwood Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, they reportedly found fire coming from a rear building.
They were able to quickly knock down the flames, and no one was injured in the explosion, officials said…
