A series of DUI checkpoints was announced by the LAPD on Sept. 1, which highlight areas that will have higher levels of patrols until the end of Labor Day weekend on Monday.
The purpose of these checkpoint locations is to educate drivers on the dangers of drinking while driving and remove intoxicated motorists from the road, promoting public safety on the streets.
