A woman who was an accounting manager for a Los Angeles clothing company was charged with stealing more than $2.5 million from the business.
The crimes allegedly occurred when Donna Faye Bui, 45, was employed with Karen Kane, Inc., a women’s clothing company based in Vernon, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said.
Between September 2015 and February 2024, Bui oversaw the company’s bank accounts and was the only person with electronic access to certain accounts, prosecutors said. She was also responsible for paying company bills…
