Intense waves from a tropical system out in the Pacific impacted homes and businesses in Long Beach again on Monday, forcing evacuations for some residents.
Residents were preparing for another night of potential flooding and high tides after an eventful weekend thanks to Tropical Storm Marie.
On Monday evening, Long Beach Firefighters went door-to-door, giving evacuation notifications for approximately 20 homes directly on the seawall between 63rd Place and 67th Place.
