PLAYA DEL REY – A man was found dead with a gunshot wound in Ballona Creek near the Lincoln Boulevard bike path Monday morning, LAPD told Westside Current.
Police received the call at 8:44 a.m. near Lincoln and Culver boulevards. Officers and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the flood-control channel below the Lincoln Boulevard bridge. LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating the death.
