Southern California will suffer another oppressive day of extreme heat and high humidity on Thursday, but there is good news on the horizon.
The National Weather Service says Wednesday marked the peak of this week’s high temperatures, but not enough cooling is expected Thursday to prevent ongoing heat-related dangers and warnings.
In fact, Extreme Heat Warnings for temperatures ranging from the mid-90s to around 110 degrees remain in effect through 8 p.m. for parts of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.
