On Monday, August 31 at approximately 4:39 p.m., Culver City Police said that officers responded to a “retail location at 6000 Sepulveda Boulevard after receiving reports of a group of juveniles harassing patrons. Moments later, officers received an update to the call that members of the same group were assaulting a man.”
According to a police statement, “Officers arrived and quickly located a male adult victim suffering from significant injuries. Culver City Fire Department personnel responded and transported him to a local hospital with critical but non-life-threatening injuries. During the investigation, officers learned that the victim was with his girlfriend and their two young children when the incident occurred. During the assault, suspects forcibly took jewelry from the female victim, causing injuries. The female victim and both children were transported to a local hospital as a precaution.”
