Dozens of small earthquakes have struck across Southern California within the past 24 hours, including a 3.4-magnitude quake that shook off the coast of Catalina Island early Saturday morning.
The region was hit by six earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 or greater within the last 24 hours, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
