During a discussion of the No. 14 Trojans, Portnoy recalled meeting late country music star and devoted Oklahoma fan Toby Keith after a horse race. According to Portnoy, Keith spent roughly two hours unloading on Riley, whose 2021 departure from Oklahoma for USC remains a sore spot for plenty of Sooners fans.
