Burglars Hit the Same Encino House Three Times and Still No Arrests Have Been Made
The homeowner was not even there when it happened. He was out of town, watching his own house get broken into on a surveillance screen.
At around 1 a.m. on September 18, 2026, three suspects smashed through the sliding glass doors at the back of a home on the 17500 block of Emelita Street in Encino. An alarm went off. LAPD responded. By the time officers arrived, the suspects were already gone.
And if that sounds frustrating on its own, here is the part that makes it worse. This was the third time this specific home was hit.
