A powerful September nor’easter pounding the East Coast is disrupting air travel across the country, with the ripple effects reaching passengers at Los Angeles International Airport.
Hundreds of flights had been canceled and thousands more delayed nationwide Saturday morning as the storm brought heavy rain, damaging winds and coastal flooding to parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.
Boston Logan International Airport was among the hardest hit, with nearly 250 cancellations reported Saturday morning, according to FlightAware data cited by KTLA’s Omar Lewis. Dozens of cancellations were also reported at New York’s LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy international airports and Philadelphia International Airport.
