LOS ANGELES – Criminal proceedings have resumed against the Florida woman accused of opening fire at Rihanna’s Beverly Crest-area home while the singer, her partner, children and staff were inside.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Maria Cavalluzzi found Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 36, mentally competent to stand trial during a Tuesday hearing in Hollywood, restoring a case that had been paused for about 4½ months after questions were raised about Ortiz’s competency.
