More than a decade after the saga began, piles of rubbish have returned to the infamous Fairfax District “trash house,” leaving neighbors frustrated and helpless, including some who predicted the potentially toxic refuse would return.
Homeowner Raymond Gaon, described by neighbors in the 600 block of North Martel Avenue as a “nice man” who has been hoarding garbage on his property for years, is no stranger to city officials.
