Los Angeles Police Department released bodycam footage of an officer-involved shooting of a man who was possibly under the influence of alcohol and had stabbed one family member while holding another hostage at knifepoint.
Officers responded to a 911 call about a man acting erratically
On September 12, officers of the Hollywood Patrol Division responded to reports of a 37-year-old man at a residence in the 9300 block of Warbler Way, as seen in the footage released by LAPD.
The suspect, dressed in all black, was armed with a knife, “acting erratically” under the possible influence of alcohol, and had already stabbed a family member.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the male victim with multiple stab wounds and transported him to a hospital for medical attention…
