SANTA FE SPRINGS – A pedestrian was killed Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway near Santa Fe Springs. California Highway Patrol officers were called at 5:18 a.m. to the southbound freeway and the Florence Avenue on-ramp where they found the victim, according to CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig.
