The world of Hollywood is mourning the loss of longtime and well-decorated TV producer John Bush, who worked on some of the most iconic animated shows on television, including “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” and “X-Men: Evolution,” after it was announced that he has died at the age of 69.

Legendary TV producer John Bush, who throughout his illustrious career worked on some of the most iconic animated shows to run on television, has died in Los Angeles at the age of 69 after a battle with B-cell lymphoma that had impacted his brain stem.
Bush’s death was announced by his friend Kevin Bannerman, who only recently notified The Hollywood Reporter of his passing late last year.
Bush’s career spanned multiple decades after he first moved to Los Angeles in the 1980s to pursue a career in acting before eventually moving to the production side.
He won an Emmy Award in 2001 for his work on “The Simpsons,” a show he contributed to for three seasons, also receiving an Emmy nomination in 2000.
