Search Continues for California Hiker Missing 3 Weeks

Officials are searching for a California hiker who has been missing for more than three weeks.

Zachary James Crehan was last seen near a hiking trail on Mount Wilson on Jan. 5 at 4:49 p.m., according to a missing person bulletin from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Crehan is a 35-year-old white man with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.

“There is concern for [the] missing person, Zachary Crehan’s well-being. We are asking for the public’s help,” the sheriff’s office said.

A helicopter and drones are being used to search the area, KCAL News reported.

The Montrose Search and Rescue Team said they are assisting in the search on X. They asked hikers on Mount Lowe and Mount Wilson to look for Crehan.

Anyone with information should contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Unit.
